Sponsorship Visa Programs
Instacan helps you file your sponsorship visa process in the best way possible to avoid any errors which can lead to visa refusals.
Family Sponsorship
The Government of Canada is firmly committed to keeping the families together, for which they have allowed families to be sponsored for Canadian immigration. If a Canadian permanent resident or citizen has a family member whom they want to immigrate to Canada, they can sponsor them. Reuniting the family remains one of the pillars of the Canadian immigration system.
The Canadian government offers various sponsorship programs for Canadian citizens or permanent residence holders to sponsor dependent family members. When the dependents attain Canadian PR status, they can live, study, or work in Canada.
Spousal Sponsorship Canada Visa
Canadian citizens and permanent residents can sponsor the spouse, common-law, or conjugal partner to become a Permanent Resident in Canada. The Sponsor will have to sign an agreement with the Canadian Government t showing responsibility to financially support the sponsored spouse for three years. The procedure of the spouse visa for Canadian permanent residency has a higher variable when compared to other visa applications as they will not be restricted to fulfilling stringent education requirements, language proficiencies, or work experience.
On receiving the spousal sponsorship, the spouse can live, work, and settle permanently in Canada.
Parent Sponsorship
If you wish to bring your relatives to Canada, then it is possible through various sponsorship programs. People who want to bring their parents and their grandparents to live with them in Canada can do it by using Parent Sponsorship.
Many permanent Canadian residents want to relocate their parents or grandparents to Canada to live with them. The candidates have to fill out an online interest to sponsor form to mark their interest. The Canadian federal government has provided an opportunity through this program to the country’s residents to sponsor the relocation of parents or grandparents. This program is conducted only once a year. The 2021 intake will accept 30,000 applications which is a record-high number for this program.
With this visa, your family members will be able to study and work in Canada once they obtain permanent residence in the country. The family members who must take advantage of this visa are usually the children or the partners.
To do this, the person sponsoring your partner or children must be over 18 years of age and meet one of the following options:
Be a Canadian citizen
Be registered in the country under the Canadian Indian Act
Be a permanent resident
Financial Supporting proof is required for any of the below scenarios:
You want to sponsor a child who is dependent on minors.
You want to sponsor a couple who have a child with dependent children.
You can sponsor your partner whether they are married, if they are a de facto couple, or if they demonstrate a relationship of more than a year.
Child Under 18 Sponsorship
One of the main objectives of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (the Act) since 2015 is to see that Canadian families are united with their loved ones irrespective of their nationality. The Child Under-18 Sponsorship program allows a Canadian citizen or one that has a permanent residence to sponsor the immigration of a dependent under 18-year-old child (whether legitimate or adopted child) to live with them.
Keeping families together is one of the important commitments that the Government of Canada believes in. Hence the government allows dependent children sponsorship. The parents, who meet the requirements to be a sponsor of the dependent child, can apply for the child to become a Canadian PR.
Canada has a separate sponsoring process for adopted children. (Talk to us to know more details.)
The Canadian federal government with the IRCC places so much importance on family reunions as a priority within the immigration system by allowing Canadians to bring their young children under the age of 18 to Canada. It is seen by the Canadian government that the reuniting of the newcomers with their loved ones would enhance their social well-being, performance, and contribution to the Canadian economy.
